Project Description
The Farewell Heights Secondary Plan Area is approximately 107 hectares in size and is generally located east of Tooley Road, south of Pebblestone Road, west of Courtice Road, and north of the Adelaide Avenue extension. The secondary plan area is currently comprised of a variety of uses, including agricultural, residential, commercial, and natural features, such as woodlots, wetlands and Farewell Creek.
The Farewell Heights Secondary Plan will provide more detailed direction for this specific area regarding land uses, transportation, infrastructure, natural heritage, phasing and urban design.
Current Status and Next Steps (September 2024)
Background reports are currently being finalized to wrap-up phase one of the Farewell Heights Secondary Plan. Once ready, they will be posted online for public review and comment.
Next steps:
- Residents will be invited to review and provide public comments on the background reports.
- The Secondary Plan team will prepare alternative land use plans (phase two).
- Residents will be invited to attend a second Public Information Centre.
