Town Hall

Our Town Hall is the heart of the Municipality. It's the place where all the decisions that impact our daily lives and our community happen. Clarington Council sets by-laws, holds Council and Committee meetings, approves development, establishes the tax levy and provides oversight over the Municipality's administration.

Residents can help advise Council and help shape the future course of the community by applying to sit on a variety of advisory committees and boards. You can also follow Council by watching the meetings live on our Council meetings page. Just find the meeting you are interested in and click on it. The livestream will begin five minutes ahead of the scheduled start time.
