We strive to provide affordable recreation programs for our residents. To make sure everyone has access to recreation, we offer financial assistance programs for select programs and services based on eligibility criteria.
The Fee Assistance Program provides a $300 credit per person toward Community Services registered activities or memberships. Those within 25 per cent of Low Income Cut-Off (LICO) rates receive $200 credit per person.

The Inclusion Membership Discount aims to increase recreation opportunities for individuals with disabilities by providing a reduced fee for fitness facility memberships.

The Canadian Tire Jumpstart program assists children four to 18 years of age who live in Clarington with the opportunity to participate in sports and active recreational activities. Complete the application online, or contact any of our recreation facilities for more information.

Durham Region Social Services offers Clarington residents in the Ontario Works program the opportunity to participate in recreation activities. To determine if you are eligible, contact the Region of Durham Social Services Department at 905-428-8982.
