Aquafit is an in-water fitness class designed to strengthen your muscles and improve your cardiovascular fitness. Working out in water adds resistance to your muscles without the impact land activities can have on your joints. It is also a great cross-training opportunity for those looking for something new. We have classes for swimmers and non-swimmers alike.

Aquafit - General |
An excellent fitness-in-water class for all age groups of swimmers and non-swimmers. An instructor will lead you through a series of exercises for flexibility, muscular strength, cardiovascular health and stretching. Exercising in water relieves stress on joints and provides a more effective workout as you work against the resistance of the water. |
Deep Water Aquafit |
Deep Water Aquafit is held in deep water using floatation belts for added support. This class eliminates impact on your joints and is ideal for developing core strength, balance, stamina and enhancing cross-training. It is suitable for all fitness levels, and we encourage participants to work at their own pace. |
Nice and Easy |
This program is for adults who are experiencing joint pain or swelling of joints or other mobility restrictions. It will help improve range of motion and mobility. We encourage participants to work at their own pace. |
Shallow Water Aquafit |
Workouts will focus on cardio training, strengthening, stretching and toning in shallow or chest-deep water. Participants will use a variety of equipment to enhance the program and encourage increased stamina. This program is suitable for all fitness levels and swimming abilities. |
All participants must assess their medical history by reviewing the Physical Activity Readiness Questionnaire (PAR-Q) before participating in any aquatic or fitness program.
