All meetings are still open for the public to view online at www.clarington.net/calendar. Delegations can participate online and must follow the steps below to register. Clarington staff will provide registered delegates with instructions on how to join the meeting.
Individuals or groups who want to appear in person to present information or to make a request to Council, General Government Committee, Planning and Development Committee or a Special Committee, are referred to as delegations. A delegation will have seven minutes to present requests and/ or concerns.
If you would like to appear as a delegation, fill out the online delegation form, or contact Clerk's Division by phone by 3:30 p.m. on the workday prior to the meeting. Meeting dates, agendas, minutes and video can be found on our Council Meeting Calendar. Advise of the date you want to appear, the topic you wish to speak to, your contact information and whether you plan to have an electronic presentation. Planning matters are considered at Planning and Development meetings. All other matters are considered at General Government Committee meetings. You can only speak at a Council Meeting if the matter is on the agenda and you have not spoken to the matter at a committee meeting. See our presentation guidelines for suggestions on making your presentation accessible to the widest number of people.
