To improve the safety of drivers, cyclists and pedestrians in Bowmanville, the Municipality of Clarington will be making roadway improvements on a portion of King Street East from Lambert Street to Haines Road. This work will include the reallocation of a four-lane section from Frank Street to Mearns Avenue as a consistent two-lane road with buffered cycling lanes and a continuous centre left turn lane.
