Darlington Boulevard Improvements

The Municipality of Clarington’s 2018 capital works program currently includes for design work for provision of a sidewalk along the full length of Darlington Boulevard. The purpose of this PIC is to investigate options for sidewalk location and to coordinate this future work with a possible need for sanitary sewers, traffic calming components and road section upgrades in the area.

A Public Information Centre (PIC) was held on Wednesday, January 31, 2018 at the Clarington Public Library, 2950 Courtice Road, Courtice.

The PIC consisted of an informal drop-in centre with displays showing options for sidewalk construction, traffic related information, and traffic calming options. Members of the public were invited to meet the project team, review the presented boards and discuss issues related to the project. Your knowledge of the area and input can provide valuable information for finalizing the design plans. Actual construction of improvements on Darlington Boulevard will be considered in Clarington’s capital budget in a future year.
