We encourage all family members, including dogs, to participate in the meet and greet portion of the adoption process to ensure your chosen pet is the right fit for your entire family. Once you meet the dog of interest, you can bring your dog in for a second visit.
Meet Fred! He’s our spirited Dutch shepherd mix and is bursting with energy and eagerness to play. At around four years old, he’s reached that sweet spot where he’s still a playful pup at heart but has the maturity to form intense bonds with his humans. Give Fred time to trust, and you’ll have a fiercely loyal companion. He wears his heart on his paw and will stand by your side through thick and thin.
Fred loves toys. He’ll play endlessly, whether it’s a squeaky ball, a plushie, or a rope. Get ready for some tug-of-war and fetch sessions! Fred craves mental and physical stimulation. Puzzle toys, agility exercises, and interactive play are his jam. Keeping his mind engaged will help him thrive.
Fred prefers a calm environment. No other furry roommates—small animals or dogs, please. He wants your undivided attention (and belly rubs, of course).
Fred needs a patient guide. Someone who understands dogs and appreciates their quirks. He needs someone who can help channel his enthusiasm into success.
Fred’s ideal match? An experienced dog owner who knows the ropes. If you’ve got a heart for adventure and a knack for canine companionship, Fred is waiting. Remember, Fred isn’t just a dog; he’s a bundle of joy, loyalty, and playfulness.
So, if you’re ready to embark on this delightful journey with Fred, fill out that adoption application. Let’s make Fred’s tail wag with excitement! Meet and greets can be arranged upon approval of an adoption application.
