Weight Restrictions

The 2024 weight restrictions for roads under the Municipality of Clarington's jurisdiction will end on April 2. Signs will remain on municipal roads where weight restrictions apply year-round.

When weight restrictions are in effect, vehicle loads are restricted to five (5) tonnes per axle in accordance with the provisions of the Highway Traffic Act R.S.O. 1990, cH8, s122.
