Heritage properties are often in need of maintenance and restoration. The Municipality offers a Heritage Incentive Grant Program to assist owners with the cost of repairs and restoration. Clarington offers up to 50 per cent of the costs per building, a maximum of $6,000 per owner including a maximum of $4,000 for exterior work, or $2,000 for interior work.
