June is Recreation and Parks Month (JRPM)! Clarington is celebrating with a calendar of free or low-cost programs promoting the benefits of recreation, parks and being active.
Start the month with a bang and join us at the Newcastle Community Park official opening, located adjacent to Diane Hamre Recreation Complex. Join us on June 1 from 3 to 6 p.m. for a free family event, including indoor and outdoor family activities, games, crafts, and a free swim from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m.

Our Recreation and Parks Month Activity Schedule is jam-packed with activities for people of all ages and abilities. There’s something for everyone, from Yoga by the Lake to Guided Hikes to Learn to Play Pickleball.
