Clarington, Ontario – Mayor Adrian Foster is asking residents to get involved in Clarington’s strategic plan.
“As we create a new strategic plan, input from Clarington residents is essential to help ensure that it reflects the priorities and issues important to the community,” said Mayor Foster.
Elected officials are listening to the public and will work with municipal staff to turn their vision into reality. The new strategic plan is a roadmap to the key initiatives that Clarington wants to achieve. It will impact how residents live, work, and play in the Municipality in the future -- from recreation programs to new neighbourhoods.
The last strategic plan was drafted in 2018. Since then, Clarington’s population has been rapidly growing. The new strategic plan will guide Clarington for the next four years and beyond. Residents across Clarington can help shape their community by completing a short survey until Friday, March 10.
“We need to hear from you on important municipal matters,” said Mayor Foster.
