Statement from Mayor Adrian Foster on Ramadan

Clarington, Ontario – As we mark Ramadan, Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster has issued the following statement.

“As Clarington's Islamic community begins the holy month of Ramadan, it is a moment to reflect on the core values of compassion, gratitude, and generosity that this period embodies. For many, this month will be a time of dedicated prayer, fasting, charity, and introspection.

On behalf of Clarington Council, we extend our sincere wishes for a peaceful, blessed, and spiritually enriching Ramadan to everyone observing it.
