Mayor Foster issues statement of condolence on the loss of Jill Richardson

Clarington, Ontario – The following statement has been issued by Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster, expressing condolences on the death of Marigold Hospice Care board member Jill Richardson.

“I am profoundly saddened by the passing of Clarington’s Jill Richardson. This is a heartbreaking loss for our community and all those lucky enough to know this incredible citizen.

As a fierce advocate for hospice, Jill’s work was essential in making the construction of the Marigold Hospice Care a reality. End-of-life care in our community will be forever improved because Jill championed this cause.

Through her warmth and compassion, Jill made a lasting contribution to our municipality. Her legacy will continue to inspire many who also seek to make a difference.
