We’re looking for community representatives to help us select this year’s well-deserving grant recipients for the Community Funding Program. Your local community perspective will be invaluable in informing the decision-making process. The Clarington Community Funding Program Review Committee consists of five staff members and up to three community members who will review eligible submissions from not-for-profit and community-based organizations.
In your role, you will contribute with your knowledge of Clarington’s needs, existing programs, and potential gaps. You will also have an appreciation for these community priorities that the grant program supports:
Community representatives must be available to provide 25+ volunteer hours between February and March. Approximately 20 hours will be needed to review all applications from home, and another 5 hours to meet with the Community Funding Program Review Committee to adjudicate applications.
