Clarington, Ontario – Residents across Clarington have a chance to help shape the future of our community.
Council will soon be working to create a new Strategic Plan, a roadmap of the key initiatives and actions that Clarington will work towards achieving over the next four years. The priorities set in Clarington’s Strategic Plan will help guide decision-making for this Council term.
Input from Clarington residents is essential if the Strategic Plan is going to reflect the priorities and issues of the community. The public will have a chance to weigh in on important municipal matters like roads, parks and trails, economic development, growth and planning, and more. With this in mind, residents are asked to complete a short survey. The survey will request opinions from residents and what they believe the Municipality’s top priorities should be over the next four years.
“A key part of what we do as members of Council is set the priorities for this term, and we need your help,” said Mayor Adrian Foster. “We need to hear from you.”
Visit www.clarington.net/StrategicPlan to learn more and offer input on the Strategic Plan. Printed copies of the Strategic Plan Survey are available for pickup at the Municipal Administrative Centre (40 Temperance Street, Bowmanville) or at any Clarington recreation facility. Responses will be shared with Clarington Council before members meet to set the 2023-2026 Strategic Plan.
