Clarington Mayor Adrian Foster Releases Proposed Multi-Year Budget

Clarington, Ontario – Clarington is planning for a prosperous future with A Plan for Growth: Clarington's Proposed 2024-27 Budget.

If adopted, the Municipality’s first multi-year budget will provide stability and predictability for Clarington families and businesses so that they can plan for their future with confidence.

A Plan for Growth would also take significant steps to implement Clarington’s 2024-27 Strategic Plan. It would take action to plan responsibly for growth; provide efficient, modern and responsive programs and services; and build a strong, thriving and diverse community.

“This is an exciting time in Clarington. This year, we were named the fourth happiest place in all of Canada—and we aim to become number one. This proposed budget is Clarington’s plan to provide families and businesses with the opportunities, services and supports they need to make the most of our municipality’s bright future,” said Mayor Adrian Foster. “With this budget, our municipality isn’t just unlocking our economic potential; we’re creating a place where people can raise a family, connect with their neighbours, help shape their community and pursue their professional and educational goals.”
