Clarington Fire receives grant from Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation to purchase gear washer

Clarington, Ontario –  Clarington Emergency and Fire Services received a grant from the Firehouse Subs Public Safety Foundation of Canada for $46,612.50 to purchase a specialized, industrial gear washer.

Clarington Council approves the 2022 Budget

Clarington, Ontario – Clarington Council has unanimously approved the 2022 Budget that will increase the Municipal portion of the tax levy by 2.11 per cent. When combined with the Region of Durham and the Provincial education portions, taxpayers will see an approximate 1.99 per cent increase on the overall combined tax bill.

Building affordable housing: Clarington unlocks land to create diverse housing options

Clarington, Ontario – The Municipality of Clarington has entered a partnership with Durham Region Non-Profit Housing and Habitat for Humanity GTA to create an 84-unit mixed development that will bring new affordable housing to our community.
