Clarington, Ontario – The Municipality of Clarington is proud to become the first municipality in the province to request a Community Infrastructure and Housing Accelerator (CIHA) order to fast-track new affordable housing.

Clarington firefighters raised more than $10,000 to support men’s health through the Movember Foundation – and there’s still time to donate.
In the final hours of November, an outpouring of donations pushed the Clarington firefighters’ campaign to $11,921. The surge put the Clarington Professional Firefighters Association members, IAFF Local 3139, in the top eight fire teams across Canada fundraising for the Movember Foundation (a charity which funds projects to improve men’s health).
