Clarington, Ontario – There’s a new place to play in Clarington.
Members of Council held a ribbon-cutting ceremony to celebrate the official opening of Brookhill Park on November 10.
Located at 2301 Green Road in Bowmanville, the new park includes accessible playground equipment for people of all abilities, wood fibre safety surfacing to reduce barriers to play, and a gazebo to provide shade. New benches and landscaping round out the complete park installation.

Council denies application to demolish Heritage Triple Dormitory building at Camp 30
Council has turned down an application to demolish one of the historic buildings at 2020 Lambs Road, known as the former Boys Training School and Second World War Prisoner of War Camp (Camp 30).
