Clarington March 20, 2020/- The Municipality of Clarington is closing all playground equipment and structures effective immediately. This decision was made based on evidence from the World Health Organization, which states that “…the novel coronavirus may remain on surfaces for a few hours or up to several days, depending on several conditions, including type of surface, temperature or humidity of the environment.”

Clarington March 18, 2020/- Clarington is still offering some services to residents, despite the closure of all Municipal facilities to the public. Clarington has created a dedicated web page for all Municipal-related information during the COVID-19 situation. Residents are encouraged to visit, www.clarington.net/COVID-19 for daily updates and information posted at 4 p.m.
