Clarington, Ontario – As local students prepare to head into summer holidays, the Municipality of Clarington is taking steps to improve road safety in school zones for when classes resume this fall.
Drivers will need to slow down as the speed limit in school zones on Clarington roads is being reduced from 50 kilometres per hour to 30 kilometres per hour. New speed limit signs will be installed over the summer months, to be completed in time for the start of the 2024-25 school year.
