Clarington, Ontario – The Municipality of Clarington will require proof of full vaccination and corresponding identification (photo ID or any identification confirming name and date of birth) from members of the public aged 12 and older who want to enter our recreation facilities and fitness centre starting on Wednesday, September 22, 2021. Clarington, Ontario – To protect our environment, Clarington has launched the eco-friendly 4Rs initiative in our facilities to reduce, reuse, recycle and recover waste.
This fully accessible initiative will see a three-stream waste system in facilities with bins accepting garbage waste, mixed recyclables, and organic compost. The bins in the lobby areas are also equipped with tactile raised vinyl mats in front of each one to assist visually impaired residents in picking the correct form of disposal.
