Whitby, Ontario – The Region of Durham is releasing support funding in response to the growing needs in Durham’s homelessness support system during COVID-19.
The COVID-19 Community Assistance Fund is available as a one-time allocation for not-for-profit organizations in Durham Region that are providing urgent help to vulnerable residents, homeless residents and residents at risk of homelessness who are impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Clarington April 20, 2020- The Municipality of Clarington has made the difficult decision to cancel its Canada Day celebration held at Garnet B. Rickard Recreation Complex.
