Whitby, Ontario – The Regional Municipality of Durham is advising residents and businesses in Newcastle and Newtonville of mandatory water restrictions during the extreme hot weather. Residents and businesses are required to discontinue all non-essential indoor and outdoor water use during this time.

June 9, 2020 —Clarington Public Library will begin offering contactless pick-up for Library items as of June 15.
The Library will phase in curbside pick-up - a “Library Take-Out Service” - from the Courtice and Newcastle Branches to help connect their members with learning and leisure materials they have been missing since mid-March.
