Beginning the week of August 12, 2024, crews will begin the next phase of construction on the Soper Creek trail to continue the three-metre-wide paved asphalt trail out to Cotton Street. The work will also include the installation of a retaining wall, signage, amenities and restorative landscaping.

Clarington is working to improve accessibility and safety across the community. Starting the week of August 6, crews will begin intersection accessibility improvements and construction of new pedestrian crossovers in Bowmanville, Courtice and Enniskillen.
